My health

Dropping weight

So, I started August 4th to exercise and diet. I was 336lbs at my maximum capacity. The doctor said I became diabetic (Diabetes type 2). I suspect I became diabetic mid way during the pandemic. Anyway, my A1C was 7. I hear 7 is not super bad, but just right over the border to becoming diabetic. I was blaming myself for this . I had been abusing food since my 30s.

The beginning

So August 4th, I started to bust my ass and hit the treadmill for 25 mins a day. I also cut out all carbs. No bread, no pasta, no beer. I never was a person  to eat lots of sweets. I always thought to become a diabetic you had to eat lots of sugar. I guess there are lots of sugars in breads, fast foods etc. I did cut out all carbs and sugars and excessive salt.

Fast forward

Fast forward to 10/12/2021. I am now 305lbs. I fluctuate between 305lbs and 301lbs. I never can quite make it under 300lbs. I am trying though. I eat mainly vegetables and lean meats. Lots of seltzer water. Also regular water. I am OCD still on checking my blood sugar. I check it 6 times a day. I will start to only check it twice a day.

Anxious about my diagnosis

The diabetes made me very anxious. I have lots of anxiety in my life right now. My dad is at the last weeks of chemo for prostate cancer. Both parents are in their 80s. I am concerned. Ill be honest, I have been kinda spoiled by my parents. They do a lot for me. They have always done a lot. I worry about being alone.
