Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. Near south suburbs. As soon as I learned to drive, I was venturing to downtown Chicago. I first started going downtown with a camera in 1990. Back then, it was a 35mm film camera. I shot strictly black and white film. I have a love hate relationship with Chicago. I like that Chicago is a world-class city. However I hate the politics, corruption and crime of Chicago. I remain in the area to be close to my family.
