I would like to be known

Since I was 18 years old I loved photography.  I love creating new images with the camera and my computer (Adobe Photoshop). I consider myself an artist. There are many famous artists. Movie, music, visual arts, I want to be well known. I want to be known for my body of work. I want to be known  for all the right reasons.

Difference  between well known and famous

Famous is when people see you and recognize you. I am 52, balding, over weight and older. I don’t want my physical likeness to be recognized. I want my name and my body of photography to be well known. It’s hard in these times because with photography the Internet is saturated with photography. It is hard to rise above all the good content on the Internet.

Creating quality content

I think this is what I do. I create quality content. My photography.  Creating content, there are two types of artists. True artists that produce only good content and work on their content. They hone their content until they finally are satisfied with what they are producing and will let the public view or listen to their artwork. A music group will work on a song, or a director will write a screen play. I feel that good content is timeless. Second are the artists that are also marketers. I look down on the artist/marketers.  They simply want attention and money. I feel that I am a true artist.

Unsuccessful artist

Currently I am a starving or unsuccessful artist. I wanted to quit photography a few times. As of 2024, I have not taken any new photos for 4 years. However, I am still adding my blog posts to this website. I have  been re editing older photos. I hope one day to be successful with my photography and my skills in some way. Until then, I still will be adding to this website.
