It’s our day today

I slept not really well last night. I did not sleep the whole night through. I was thinking about the outcome of this election. There are a lot of bad actors trying to grab power in the United States. Actually there are many bad actors in place currently at various levels of power. I have been watching news reports and stories for years. I firmly believe the GOP Republicans are all traitors. The GOP members are some how bought by Russian oligarchs money. Something has taken over that party. There is only one professional and semi ethical party left to vote for. The Democrats.

We always have voted Democrat

I was born and raised in a German-American Euro Democratic household. When I was younger my mother explained it to me like this. “Democrats are for the little people and the Republicans are for the big people”. Now a days that reflects true. Republicans are for mainly themselves, their friends and big and rich people. They give tax cuts to the richest people in the United States. They promote a flooding of guns in our society. Whenever there is a problem with mass shootings, GOP recommends armed people watching over churches, schools etc.. That is wrong in my book. Less guns in society is better. Ban assault and military style weapons. That is the true way of the future and the way of peace. Also the GOP are too linked up to organized religions. They infringe on women’s health and reproductive rights. The GOP and church people want to control absolute strangers in their personal decisions. That also is not right. The framers intended a separation between church and state.  I feel that the Democratic liberal way is the future.

Democrats and liberals are demonized

The GOP are busy attacking “liberals” or “libs” when they should be writing policies that would help their voters and all citizens in the US. Democrats are the only party writing bills that would help the citizens in the US. Obama gave us the Affordable Healthcare Act. Democrats, to me are true policy makers. They actually write policies to help people. The GOP constantly have frivolous attacks and complaints on policies that the Democrats make. Even petty personal attacks on Democrat members. I am really tired of having the news report on these childish and petty complaints of the GOP.  Today I am proudly voting for Kamala Harris for 47th President of the United States. I feel that she is by far the best person for this tough job. It does not bother me that she is a women with Jamaican and Indian background. I feel that any person, regardless of race, gender and sexual orientation can do any job as long as they are qualified.   I really hope Harris wins against Trump. Sheesh
